Camo and Converse
Monday, November 18, 2013
Hey there! It's Monday morning and I'm quite chipper because I have the day off. Yippee! Don't get me wrong, I love my job but sometimes a girl needs a break. You know, I never really understood Sunday Funday because I like to chill in my sweatpants all day on Sundays and do absolutely nothing. But since I knew I had today off I actually went to hang out at the Truck Yard yesterday and it was awesome. Did I mention it was 80 degrees here?! Crazy, huh?
So, I had a pretty tiring Saturday. I went to my niece's cheer competition that morning (they got 1st place!) and then to my other niece's 12th birthday slumber party right after. We had 10 girls show up. TEN, 11-12 year old (screaming) girls show up! And 8 stayed the night... EIGHT. It was such a fun time, although I wanted to put a zipper on their mouths at one point. It's cute getting to see them giggle and run around and not have a care in the world. Plus, I know Madi loved it!
With that being said, I was down to go hang out on the patio at the Truck Yard yesterday, but I was not willing to put forth a lot of effort on getting myself ready. What to do on these days? Touch up a few curls from the night before... and put a hat on. haha.
Hope you all enjoyed your weekend! I got to catch up with one of my great friends, who gave me some ideas for the blog. I may be trying some new things in the near future. If there's something specific you want me to post about... let me know! Until then, make it a great week!
