Good Morning! I'm going to start by saying I got all of my Christmas shopping done this weekend and Monday because I had the day off. Yippee! Now, I won't go into details on how horrible the stores and traffic were, because who wants to read about negativity... but I will go out on a limb and say that some kids are BAD. Period. Okay, small rant over. Now, about today's post.
This was the quickest outfit change I have ever done, seriously! Chris was heading to play softball Saturday morning and I woke up later than expected, so after we shot photos for one post, I ran upstairs, destroyed my closet and threw this together. I was actually surprised at how much I liked it, I think outfits are almost better when they are less planned and more random. Just my opinion. Chris on the other hand was not feeling it. But, he's not a girl, so the outfit made the cut. :)
I am wearing my boyfriend jeans... again, don't judge me. It was pretty chilly out, so I decided to pull the look together with a toboggan and my boots with the fur (now go back andread sing the part italicized). ha! Sorry, I had to. I also thought this checkered jacket was a fun addition to the outfit. Honestly, I can't remember exactly where I got it from (oops). I find that's the case when you run across a really good sale and immediately rip the tags off... you forget where it's from. My bad.
Top: H&M
Jacket:
Toboggan: Target, liking THIS
Shoes: JCPenney (old), liking THESE and THESE
Now, onto the new fun part... the random comment from Chris for today's photo shoot. Me: Babe, how do I look. Chris: I don't like it, you look kinda boyish. Me: on that note, let's go. I think it's best to ignore the hubs opinions on my clothing. I'm hoping by doing so he'll come to love my boyfriends (jeans) as much as I do! We shall see.
Have a great rest of the week! Friday's post will feature another outfit, but it'll be something a tad bit different. My friend asked that I start throwing in some business casual outfits, so I'll give it a shot!
Thanks for reading! XO
