Happy Monday girls! I had a super busy weekend, how about y'all?
Friday night right after work I met my mom and sister for my niece's cheer tryouts (!). We had to wait in the parking lot, because the school didn't allow the parents to stay inside for tryouts. Uh... they haven't met us. We definitely didn't go home. We waited outside, all piled into one car. ha! After waiting, waiting, going to have dinner once Madi had performed, waiting and waiting some more they finally posted to results on the school door. I was so excited for her I couldn't stand it. I remember being in the exact position, waiting for the list and then running to see if my name was on it. I couldn't wait for her to experience it as well. And she did. And she made it! :) So happy for her. Can't wait to go sit at Friday night football games again. Oh the memories.
I'll be honest though, I was so tired. Results were supposed to be posted at 8:00 and they didn't post until 9:30. Ugh. I still had to run to the grocery store to get goodies for the next day. So anyway, Saturday was full of fun as well. I had my best friend's daughters birthday (miss Ava). She turned 2 and was absolutely adorable. She's stylin' for sure now too, I mean, she did get a hot pink mini coop! :)
After that I made it home, put together some tissue paper pom poms and headed to my next adventure, a lingerie party for one of my girlfriends. She had no idea we had planned this and it was beyond exciting to see her reaction when she walked through the door. A great night with great friends! Except for the part that time changed and I lost an hour of sleep. Boo.
Then, church of course on Sunday and then a Mavs game with some church friends that night! So exciting and so fun, but such a tiring weekend. I needed one more day to recover. It's gonna be a long Monday.
Anyway, now that I've talked your ear off, I'll actually share what this post was meant for. As you can tell, I didn't get any shoots done this weekend, sorry! But, since I am in the process of buying a house (eek!) and we're almost at the end of the road, I thought I'd share what I'm currently craving, loving and dreaming about for our new house. I can't wait to paint and get it fixed up exactly how I envision in my head. So much fun!
Oh, while we're on the subject, I am going to start sharing some of the before and afters of our house as well. So, mixed in with outfit posts will be some interior design goodness. Stay tuned. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.
Thanks so much for reading! Have a fantastic week.
Also, I've linked up over at Plane Pretty again for the Sunday Style link-up. Go see what everyone else was wearing this week. You never know, you may be inspired!
