Morning ladies! Do you know what I love most about summer? I love being able to lounge all day in a comfy pair of boyfriend shorts and cute pair of sandals.
On Saturday morning (before the rain), Chris and I decided to get out and take some blog photos. We typically go to Deep Ellum, find a cool graffiti wall and call it done, but this time I wanted to go somewhere different. Me and the girls from work go to this area a lot on Fridays, mainly because it's close to our building and they have the best patios! So, of course I wanted Chris to experience the fun as well. I'm always telling him about all of these places we need to go to, but then we never do.
We finally decided Saturday was the perfect morning to hit up Trinity Groves - a cool new spot in Dallas with a ton of restaurants and a laid back vibe. Perfect. You should check it out. It's so cool. And I highly recommend trying some of the restaurants. I especially love Babb Bros BBQ and LUCK, yum! And I just saw on the website that Cake Bar is coming soon... umm, yes please!
Another spot I've been dying to try is the Hot Dog place (pictured below) Hoffman Hots. I missed the day everyone from our work team went, but I've heard it's pretty legit. Anyway, so after getting a few outfits out of the way I was excited to thrown on my comfy boyfriend shorts (yep, Chris was excited about this one - and I'm being sarcastic) and my new fave sandals. Perfect for hanging out around town.
It's the most basic outfit I've probably shown on here, but that's the best part. Boyfriends shorts and jeans are so in right now, so why not wear them, like everyday?! Seriously, if you don't have a pair, I think you should invest in some. I've linked a couple cute ones below, but I'm sure you can find them anywhere.
