Tomorrow is New Year's Eve. I can hardly believe it. I won't go on and on about how crazy fast this year has gone because I feel like that's all I talk about.
I was planning on posting this look on Wednesday but wanted to share a day early just in case someone is looking for some inspiration on a casual, yet fitting, New Year's Eve outfit.
This year we aren't really feeling the going out scene, so instead we're having a few friends over to grill out and play some games.
One thing I love about NYE is that you get to dress up in sparkly clothes or sequin dresses, not something you can pull off on any other day... except maybe Christmas. Unless you're just that cool.
Don't get me wrong, just because we decided to lounge around the house this year doesn't mean that I'm not still taking full advantage of the sparkles. I feel like this look is a good mix of the sass I need for New Year's and the comfort I need for hanging out on the sofa.
Hopefully it inspires you to do the same if you're staying home or even going to a friend's house. It's your last chance to make a statement in 2014, just do it!
So, what look are you going for this year's party?
Can't wait to see what everyone else is wearing. Have a safe and fun New Year! Bring it on 2015.
those are the funkiest leggings! I love the outfit choice!

Thank you! I found these leggings early on in 2014, on sale for $10! I knew I had to snag them up for NYE. My husband thought I was crazy when they were delivered in the Summer. :)
