We're half way through the week and I'm counting down the hours until Friday afternoon. I love Memorial weekend. It's the first holiday to officially kick off summer; hanging out at the lake with all of my peeps.
There's nothing better than spending time chatting and laughing, playing games, getting a tan and tossing back a few beers with the ones that truly let me be myself. No judgement on the boat, rule #1.
Although I'm a planner and what I believe to be pretty dang organized - we always, always forget something; one of the most important being enough sunscreen. I refuse to leave overly sun exposed and hurting this year!
One thing I don't forget are the essential fashion items. #bloggerproblems. Below are my picks for this memorial weekend and staying chic with no makeup and dirty, messy, lake water hair.

Of course, let's not forget the real meaning of this holiday and all of our soldiers that dedicated their lives to serve our country.
