I have to say, this is my first off the shoulder dress and I'm absolutely in love! I love the colors, the fact that it's light weight and a bit sassy too. It's another from Boohoo (pineapple dress was too) and a great option that I plan on packing for our trip to Florida next month.

Here I've paired it with sandals but it would also look cute paired with wedges, an oversized hat and a brown belt around the waist. So many options!

Although I'm sad to see the weekend go, I had an incredible time spending Saturday with a great group of friends. I got to spend some much needed time with one of my bests, Cassidy from Life on Cass Lane and our families. We hit up HG Supply for lunch, grabbed pops from Steel City Pops and then went wig shopping.

Nothing I say will do her story justice, so I would rather you read for yourself by the woman herself. I'm sure after reading just one post - about her journey or her life in general - you will be hooked. She is hilarious, fun and as real as it gets.

If you know us, I'm sure you can only imagine how interesting our day was. Besides the fact that we always seem to have the most inappropriate but hilarious conversations, we also went wig shopping. #wigginout.

We're all a bit dysfunctional, so it was a normal part of the day when we turn the corner to see my mom posed with a long, blonde wig on or our friend Amber trying out some thick, brown curly locks.

But in all seriousness, Cassidy was able to find the cutest blonde wig that looked super natural and complimented her in all the best ways. I think we're all wanting a wig at this point! To be someone different.... just for a day. How fun?

Of course it was just as much of a reality check as it was fun. Even with the amount of giggles, whispers, pictures and "real talk", there were also those moments when I had swallow, look away and tell myself not to get emotional. It's a different feeling when you're wig shopping with one of your best friends, at the age of 28 and she tries on a wig that made her look as if her life was never affected. I know everything happens for a reason but sometimes you can't understand why. Instead of us questioning why this happened, or why her - we just enjoyed on our day together. And that's really all that matters.

It will be moments like Saturday that I will never forget. I hope you've had the same types of moments connecting you deeply with the ones you love the most. At the end of the day, life is precious and we should all enjoy it.
