What do you think of kimonos - still a constant for you or a trend that's come and gone? 

My kimonos tend to go in phases. For a while they were all that would catch my eye but then I quickly forget about them and move on to the next best thing. 

I see girls at work wearing them and they always look so cute! So instead of just grabbing my basic tee (typical) I pulled out an oldie but goodie. It's aztec, my fave, and it coordinated with my boots perfectly. Score! 

Most kimonos that I've seen come in really fun patterns or a pretty floral - such an easy way to dress up any casual outfit. I also really like to pair longer ones with more fitted dresses. Anything to cover the fitted dress that may or may not be hugging the goods... I mean, not so work appropriate. And really, it just makes an outfit even more chic. 

The best advice I can give... layer. Layers are everything. You instantly look like you put more effort into any outfit by adding a few more pieces. Tip of the day. Happy Friday!
