The holidays are near when you pull out the faux fur. It screams holidays and instantly makes you look so festive, don't ya think?! 

I'm never one to wear a dress to our holiday gatherings. I'm usually in either leggings for the stretchiness or a comfy sweater and jeans. My family is pretty casual and we're always hanging on the couch talking or watching movies, so no formal wear for us. 

If I'm feeling sassy I'll pair my look with a cute pair of booties or pumps, but don't get it twisted, as soon as I hit the door they're off. 

This look is a perfect mix of how I like to look and feel for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I like to feel festive (the fur and booties) while also staying casual (jeggings) and always keeping a side of edge (the plaid and beanie).

The plaid can also be worn open with a cute graphic tee, under an oversized sweater with the sleeves and collar showing or by itself paired with boyfriend jeans and tennis shoes.
