2018 GIFT GUIDE: FOR THE LADIES
Saturday, December 8, 2018
My third gift guide for 2018, and this one is for the ladies! So many things from this guide I either have, or have had my eye on. See more details on my picks below (top left to bottom right).
1. Dimmable LED Mirror - I have had this one on my favorites list for a while, still not sure why I haven't purchased it yet. Either way, I think this is a great option for any girl. It has a removable 5X small mirror, and the lights are dimmable. It comes in rose gold and white; under $60. Especially great for any ladies on your list that are into beauty!
2. Pom-pom Slippers - I have these in gray and love them! I put them on insta-stories last year and got a lot of feedback, so figured they were an easy gift idea. So cute with the pom, and comfortable too. They come in 5 colors and are under $30. Extra bonus - VS is having buy 3, get 3 free through today. Some exclusions apply so be sure to check that out. It is a great deal if you have a lot of girls on your list! Knock them out for half the price.
3. Monogrammed Candle - candles are always a good idea. Who doesn't love a nice smelling candle? I also think the personalized monogram is a nice touch.
4. Justin Timberlake - need I say it again? Justin Timberlake. Well, correction - not he himself, dammit, but his book Hindsight. This is the perfect coffee table book. And let's be honest, he's something good to look at too. Tell me one girl that isn't going to high-five you when she opens this gift?!
5. Resin Earrings - these are all the rage right now, and I kinda like it. The tortoise and gold of these is by far my favorite, but they come in a lot of other colors and styles as well. Great gift for your fashionista friends/girlfriends/wives, and even a good white elephant option (pending the budget)!
6. Watch - I included a solid black one in my Men's Gift Guide and could not forget the ladies. There is something about a black and gold watch that is so timeless and chic to me. This is definitely something I want to add to my jewelry box. Chris... are you there?! Pairs well with casual or business looks, and is something to be kept for many years. Great investment piece!
7. Diffuser - If you know someone that is into essential oils, a diffuser is a must-have. I like this one because it is a nice, sleek design. I actually think diffusers and essential oils are great for everyone, so maybe even buy one for yourself. Just sayin'. Some of my favorite essential oils (if you're curious) are Young Living Lavender (so great to diffuse before bed!), Peace and Calming, Stress Away, and Thieves. Pair this one and an essential oil with gift #9, and your girl is sure to love you! So relaxing.
8. Ear Buds - I talked about these in my Men's Gift Guide as well. Wireless is on the up and up, and these are pretty appealing. I have them on my list of things I want, and I might just snag them. Also, I am all about the little case they come in. Genius. If you know anyone with a smartphone (I mean... ), this is a good gift for them.
9. Girl, Wash Your Face - have you heard of this book? I have heard SO many good things, and what better than an empowering book for women from a woman's perspective? Nothing. This is a must-give gift. I just cracked it open and can't wait to dig deeper into it. Like I said before, pair this with #7, or #2 and #3 for a cozy night in. Top it off with a bottle of wine! Who wouldn't love that?
10. Cozy Sweatshirt - from one of my favorite retailers, and you know I wouldn't steer you wrong. The length of this one is below the booty (which I know a lot of you love), and could be paired with jeans or leggings. It comes in 5 colors, has 4.5-star reviews, is a best-seller and is 50% off right now. If you don't treat anyone on your list with this one, at least treat yourself!
11. Sneakers - last but definitely not least a pair of sneakers. These sneakers specifically because the cognac color is giving me life this year. I LOVE it so much. I think it is so chic, and pairs well with casual or business-casual. They are a bit more on the pricey side (for a casual sneaker), but if you're in the market I definitely think they are worth the splurge.
